Why choose titanium block
- Weight reduction: Titanium blocks reduce weight while maintaining structural strength.
- Corrosion resistance: They offer long-term corrosion resistance in seawater, chlorides, and chemical media.
- High-temperature performance: Titanium blocks keep strength and oxidation resistance even at elevated temperatures.
- Medical grade: Gr23 (ELI) meets ASTM F136 and is widely used for medical applications.
- Dimensional stability: With low thermal expansion and non-magnetic properties, they are ideal for precision assemblies.

Titanium block frequently asked questions
Q: How much does a block of titanium cost?
A: Cost depends on grade, size, form (plate-cut, billet, forged), documents, and lead time. Quoted per kg/lb.
Q: Is titanium a good engine block material?
A: Not for standard piston engines due to cost and thermal limits. It can work in rotary or special lightweight designs.
Q: How much is 1 lb of titanium worth?
A: It varies by grade and finish. Always request a quote with size and spec.
Q: What is the price of titanium brick?
A: Often refers to small cut/scrap blocks. Industrial blocks are certified; scrap is cheaper but no MTC.
Q: Which grade should I choose — Gr2, Gr5, Gr7, Gr12, or Gr23?
A: Gr2 = cost-effective, Gr5 = high strength, Gr7/12 = seawater corrosion, Gr23 = medical.
Q: Do you provide certificates and testing?
A: Yes, standard EN 10204 3.1, with optional UT, PMI, O/N/H on request.
