What's the difference between flat, lock, and spring washers?

How are hardened washers different from regular washers?
Hardened washers are heat-treated for higher strength and typically used with high-strength bolts (e.g., Grade 8).
If the hardness or thickness is mismatched, excessive embedding can reduce clamping force. Our titanium washers are hardness- and thickness-matched for reliable performance.
What's the recommended torque for flat or Belleville washers?
25 N·m torque provides about 11 kN of clamping force. For this setup, we recommend low-friction surface treatments (such as PTFE coating or PVD DLC) to ensure torque consistency and repeatability.
