Titanium Button Head Screws

Titanium button head screws are lightweight yet strong, made to ISO 7380-1/-2 standards. They support Hex and Torx drives, available in M3–M12 sizes with lengths from 8–60 mm. Anodized finishes include black, blue, gold, and rainbow titanium.

These ISO 7380-1/-2 titanium button head bolts feature a low profile that prevents snagging. They resist seawater and chemical corrosion, while being about 40% lighter yet stronger than steel.

Titanium button head screws specifications

Our titanium button head screws strictly follow international standards:

  • ISO 7380-1 / ISO 7380-2
  • ASTM F468 / ASME / IFI metric standards

We supply EN 10204 3.1 material reports to guarantee traceability of chemical and mechanical properties.

All screws are manufactured under the ISO 9001 quality system to ensure consistent quality and reliable delivery.

Why choose titanium button head screws

  • T25 Torx drive reduces the risk of slipping or stripping.
  • Forged structure with rolled threads enhances fatigue resistance and reliability.
  • Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V is about 40% lighter than steel without losing strength.
  • Long-term resistance to seawater and chemicals makes it ideal for outdoor and marine use.
  • Low-profile button head design, available in DLC black titanium and anodized colors (blue, gold, purple).

Titanium button head screws surface finishes and appearance

Natural / polished: clean metallic look, easy to maintain, ideal for a low-key uniform style.

Anodized: available in black, blue, gold, purple haze, and rainbow titanium. Lightweight color without extra weight, offering a vivid appearance.

DLC black: diamond-like carbon coating, highly wear-resistant, anti-stain, and better anti-galling, with a solid dark look.

PVD (on request): hard thin film, even color and strong wear resistance, suitable for matched sets in one tone.

Slight color variations may occur between batches, so we recommend using the same batch of screws, washers, and nuts for a uniform look.

During installation, apply a small amount of anti-seize on threads and slightly reduce torque to ensure secure fastening without damaging the finish.

Applications of titanium button head screws

Motorcycles & bicycles

Ideal for fairings, handlebars, brake rotors, and bottle cages. ISO 7380-1/2 button heads are recommended, typically M5/M6 × 10–25 mm. Torx drive ensures a more secure fit.

For best results, pair with titanium washers and nuts of the same finish, or choose complete titanium screw sets for faster installation and a uniform look.

Installation and torque guidelines

Proper method is key to secure installation of titanium button head screws. Torx drive handles higher torque and repeated assembly, while Hex tools are more universal. Always use quality tools to avoid slipping or damage.

To prevent galling with stainless steel or aluminum parts, apply a small amount of PTFE or copper-based anti-seize on the threads.

Torque values vary by size, finish, and lubrication. For precise data, contact us anytime for a detailed torque chart.

Frequently asked questions

Q1: What is the difference between ISO 7380-1 and ISO 7380-2?

A: ISO 7380-1 is the standard button head with a low profile. ISO 7380-2 includes a flange, providing a larger bearing surface for thin plates or high clamping needs.

Q2: Should I choose Hex or Torx drive?

A: Hex tools are common and easy to use. Torx offers better resistance to slipping, ideal for higher torque and frequent assembly.

Q3: Why choose Grade 5 titanium?

A: Grade 5 combines high strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in aerospace, marine, and performance industries. Grade 2 is better for lower loads, cost savings, and corrosion-focused applications.

Q4: Do you supply anodized colors?

A: Yes, available colors include black, blue, gold, and rainbow titanium. Matching nuts and washers can be provided for a uniform look.

Q5: Is anti-seize required?

A: Recommended, especially when titanium button head screws are used with titanium, stainless steel, or aluminum parts. It prevents galling and ensures stable torque.
